Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New York

Overturn judges decision

Is there any way to overn turn a jedges decision in a landlord tenant case. The lordlord was awarded an eviction order and a sheriff notice has gone out. The tenant has yet to been served the eviction order and needs an addtional twenty days to vacate the premises. There has been illnesses in the tenants family and he/she has beenunder duress. Please advise.

I am sorry for the illness. I trust a full recovery will be possible.

This is a simple problem. With a doctor's note you can apply to the judge for an extension of time. 60 days seems likely because of a family illness.
