Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New York
I recently acquired a lease of a property for five years. In the property I have a small bakery. I am the only occupant in the small building. Two days ago the property was sold to a new owner and I still have four years and a few months in the lease. I would like to know my rights just in case the new landlord would like to raise the rent or try to cancel the lease.
Kind regards,
Dolores Cosme
