Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New York
I recently bought a mobile home for my family to live in. There was a tenant living in the trailer at the time, he was supposed to move out and off the property and surrender premises to me. He refuses to leave the premises. I am out of funds and out of time. My family will soon have no place to live, if he does not vacate the premises. I have three small children, my wife and myself. Will someone please help me?

You must start an eviction proceeding to have him evicted from the mobile home. In the alternative, if the agreement for the sale of the mobile home had a statement that the home would be free of tenants, you may also have an action against the seller for the return of your money.
