Rent and foreclouser

I have found out that the house i am living in is in foreclosuer, the bank had papers brought to the house. The landlord is still collecting rent one tenant is not paying. Should i pay or hold the rent ? I am not sure who i should be paying.

If the house is in foreclosure as a matter of actual fact, not just rumor or hunch, then DO NOT continue to pay rent. Stop immediately. Speak with a local attorney and demand proof that the landlord is still entitled to receive rental payments. Have your lawyer talk to the lawyers for the bank. If you are served with legal papers of any kind do not ignore them. See an attorney.

You should continue to pay the landlord (make sure it is by check or signed receipt) until you either receive an order or direction from the bank to pay another entity.
