Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New York

I am renting an apartment to two young gals, both over 18 but under 21. IF they should get into any "trouble", am I legally responsible? They are no relation to me. What are some laws that I should be aware of?

I do not know what you mean by "trouble". However, being over the age of 18 the woman are adults and are treated as such in accordance with law.
