Renting

I am currently renting, signed a lease, it has been six months and owner refuses to give me a copy of the lease, she also requested cash payments and then refused to give receipts. What can I do?

You cannot require a landlord to give you a lease. However, you are still considered a tenant, just a month to month tenant.

In terms of receipts for cash payment, you should demand receipts. If the landlord still refused to give you a receipt, pay using a money order. At lease with a money order you would have a receipt.
