room rental

i rented a room ended up staying there 2 day because landlord refused to turn heat on was no written lease just verbal am i still responsible for whole month rent and am i responsible for paying for half utlties for the month thank you for your time

No. This is a violation of wrrnty of habitability.

However there is a specific legal procedure to withholding the rent. I would contact a lawyer about this immediately.
