Despite your letter being sent it most like did not satisfy proper notice provisions that must be followed to a tee in order to evict a tenant in NY state. Due to the very specific and technical nature of the procedures necessary to follow to have a tenant properly evicted it is highly advisable to retain an attorney to represent you.
