If you have a Judgment of Possession and Warrant of Eviction, you would have the Sheriff or Marshal retrieve the property. If the tenant gave you the keys to the apartment or gave notice demonstrating intent to leave, he or she abandoned the property and you may remove the items. However, if neither of those events transpired, you are running the risk of having the tenant commencing a lawsuit for the value of the goods that you removed from the property.
