Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New York
My uncle passed away and his landlord changed the locks three days later. My family was in the process of removing his belongings because he was single and had no children. My mother who is his only sibling asked us to help so that she could find his important papers and handle his affairs. What are our rights and what can i do about his belongings. I dont know what might have been taken.
