Legal Question in Legal Ethics in New York

Lawyers sell their services through Guru and similar sites. If an attorney is licensed in one jurisdiction, how can he/she provide services for individuals and organizations throughout the country? Are attorneys who sell their services on Guru and similar sites practicing law without a license whenever they provide a service for individuals or entitites outside of the jurisdiction(s) in which they are admitted?

Lawguru is a knowledge base web site. Lawyers do not sell their services, however they advertise themselves and provide public service.
Re: Guru.Com
A lawyer on Lawguru is not selling their services. I do not know the name of the individual whose question I answer. I do not receive payment for my answer. The work performed on Lawguru is either for advertisement or for public service.
Now if a client contacts the attorney on Lawguru for representation in a jurisdiction that the attorney is not licensed, and the attorney does legal work and receives payment, then the lawyer may violate many ethical laws.
