Can Police give information to a company about one of their employees being arrested? The violation did not occur during work hours, or on company property and does not affect the company in any aspect.

Although an arrest is not a conviction - it is not even a charge - it is still public information unless there is an overriding statute. Therefore it is my opinion that the Police may release information to an employer concerning an arrest.
