Legal Question in Legal Malpractice in New York

My divorce attorney lost my case and I wasn't happy with the judgement so I called an appellate attorney and she called my lawyer and reviewed my case with him. When she called me back, she told me his strategy for my case was very poorly done and there is another effective strategy she would of used to win my case. She also pointed out a lot of poor decisions he made in my case...the judge yelled at my lawyer during trial for constantly agreeing with everything the opposing attorney said..told him "you're suppose to defend your client, and you don't have to agree with anything opposing counsel says". He let my ex get away with violating court orders, he just looked the other way when I notified him....lots of other stupid things he did. Can I sue for legal malpractice?

Yes you may sue your attorney for malpractice and the next question is: can you win? The facts you presented does not appear to rise to the level of legal malpractice.
