Legal Question in Legal Malpractice in New York
My question is: when I divorced my wife's lawyer represented both of us. As a result she got everything even a portion of my retirement. I got nothing. I feel I should have got half the equity in the home and furnishings and a share of the local convience store she owns and operates.
can I appeal the divorce? Do I have a legal malpractice case?

It all depends how long ago and what you signed. Not a good idea to have one lawyer, penny wise and pound foolish. Please, forgive the typos (painful hands) Good luck!
