suing lawyer for malparctice on real estate
my lawyer represented me on a real estate transaction. He was also a creditor and represented himself as well.

Re: suing lawyer for malparctice on real estate
Putting aside the possible conflict of interest the lawyer had because he was a creditor, what do you think the lawyer did wrong (i.e. did he suggest you take a lower price inorder to get a quick deal and get himself paid)? I handle legal malpractice cases so please feel free to contact me. There is a 3 year statute of limitations in NY for legal malpractice that runs from the time of the malpractice but can be extended if there is continuance representation on the same matter. The above is for informational purposes only as there is no current attorney-client relationship.
