Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in New York
Just had my gall bladder removed on Aug 27, 2009. This past Monday on a emergency basis I had a gall stone removed endoscopically. How common is this and should it have occured.

This sounds like you had an adhesion. These are typically the result of having prior surgery in the bowel/stomach area. Subsequent problems like this are known risks of the procedure. I really do not think that this sounds like malpractice. However, I would encourage you to consult with another attorney for an opinion.
