Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in New York

Hand neck damage

Hi!! I received acupunture to treat numbness on pinky finger. They put needles with electricity on ulnar nerve sideof hand. They also put needle on other side where thumb is located. After currnt was turned on, my index and thumb contracted in ward. Since then i have serious loss of strentgh/numbness on those two fingers. Hence: my problem was only with my pinky at first before electric acupuncture. Is there negligence/malpractice?

Re: Hand neck damage

Q: Did you see a neurologist or have any medical provider (not accupuncturist's they are not medical providers!) state that you have permanent nerve or vascular damage as a result of the accupuncture therapy?

Please advise.
