Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in New York

Hospital Accountability?

I injur--name removed-- my ankle and tak--name removed-- to X Hospital ER-diagnos--name removed-- as sprain--name removed-- & sent home with cast & crutch--name removed-- & told to return to clinic in 3 wks.

On 2nd day of injury decid--name removed-- to s--name removed-- private M.D. AT anoth--name removed-- hosp. diagnosis was bone dislocation and torn ligaments.

Surgery was perform--name removed-- & scr--name removed-- plac--name removed-- in ankle.I believe there was misdiagnosis and first hospital is accountabl--name removed-- Kindly respond.

Your message is difficult to follow. If you believe that you have been the victim of malpractice , then you should be able to speak with a lawyer experienced in Malpractice for no cost.

The immediate issue that may arise in your case is that the malpractice has to cause you injury. The usual problem with bone injury cases and misdiagnosis is that you will need to prove that the delay caused you increased damages. Given the short time between ER visits and your ultimate treatment, this may be difficult.
