Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in New York

Ime doctors

I just won a case against my jobs insurance company who sent me to their doctor who said i had no disability.This doctor examined me for 5 minutes and paid no attention to my medical reports as a result i went 6 months with no income and pain because the insurance company denied my disabillity.

Through my doctors depositions and my medical report the workers comp judge ruled in my favor in relation to my disability.

Can I sue the doctor for the pain and suffering i had to endure becasue of his false testimony?

Unfortunately you cannot sue the IME Doctor. This issue has been litigated in the Courts and it has been determined that there is no patient-doctor relationship.
