Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in New York

Medical Malpractice, Slip & Fall & SSI ???

Feb 2000 I was at bus. appt at a home/bus snow

on ground no clear passage to enter I took

shortest/safest rte Upon leaving slipped on ice hit

curb broke femur Surgical repair and hosp over a

week Long/difficult recovery, wheelchair, 6mos

crutches, 3mos cane, PT 3x/wk 10mos (cut-off by

ins)Filed suit against h/o Filed SSI Every doc visit

I complained of hip pain he said hardware would

stay in forever I ?? the placement of screw ( x-ray

looked like it was in joint) he said no At 6 mos my

records were ''lost'' and he wants hardware out in

1 yr 2nd opinion had CT scan revealed

penetration of screw into hip joint At 14mos

hardware removed by different doc p/t again At 22

mos still have constant pain in hip Now work few

hrs/wk (can't sit long)Contacted several med mal

atty's all agree it's malpratice but difficult to prove

what is fall vs doc. SSI denied atty needs $650 for

narrative Slip and fall case pending attorney just

likes ''quick settles'' I''ve exausted all savings to

pay for health ins now have no ins this will be

pre-existing for a new plan I need a legal advocate

that can handle all Please respond if you can
