Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in New York

My son is 30 years old and is currently in the hospital with kidney stone 7cm. When they did a cat scan they told him he only has one kidney! I was never told this when he was born, he was in the hospital at 2 weeks old with apnea, for one month thereafter, but never was i told about one kidney. Is there anything that can be done now? The other kidney is enlarged at present. He was born on li,ny. And he presently resides there. I, reside now in ohio.

In NY you have a 10 yr statute of limitations to start a medical malpractice lawsuit that involved a minor. The ten years has passed. Sorry.
