Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in New York
my mother had total hip replacement and then developed a staph infection. they said sometimes it just happens. they reopened the hip and flushed it out to try to get the bacteria out but that didnt work. shes been on antibiotics through iv for about 2 months and the infection is not going away. they now want to remove the joint, clean it and put in what they called a spacer, then 6 weeks from that they would put in a new joint. should she seek a lawyer before going through with this next surgery?

Medical Malpractice cases are very complex. You need to have an experienced medical malpractice attorney and their staff nurse review the medical file before making any major decisions on legal matters. If you would like me to arrange for you to speak with an affiliated medical malpractice firm attorney, please let me know so I can be of assistance.
