Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in New York

I am looking for a quote on a malpractice/wrongful death suit. Also is there a time line, my dad passed away 2yrs ago and I believe he should not have or could have been helped.

A legal fee for worngful death in New York must be approved by the Court. Generally, a one-third fee of the net recovery is customary. The time to bring a wrongful death claim is limited to 2 years from the date of death. And if the claim is against a municiple hospital, a notice of claim must have been filed within 90 days.
