Re: receiving payment in a lawsuit

It depends. Generally, an insurance company must provide payment within 21 days from the date the release is sent. However, if it involves the city it will take much longer. There are many particulars and I need more info to give you a more precise answer. Please call me, Pasquale Calcagno, Esq. at 1(800)WE-FIGHT and I would be happy to give you free advice on the matter. Additionally, you may want to consider obtaining a post settlement funding to tide you over for a few months until you receive your settlement. I have a company that would provide funding for you.
