Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in New York

Researching Poss.Complaints against Doctor/LASIK

Hi I am scheduled for LASIK eye surgery and would like to know how one would go about researching complaints/suits against the doctor. He has a good reputation and several people I know have had the surgery performed by him,all with good results. My optometrist also recommended him. Thank you in advance.
