Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in New York
After a visit to the dentist I developed a sebaceous cyst on my face. It is directly in line with the work that was performed. I visited said dentist twice after. Told me I had an infection and once prescribed antibiotics. After growing larger and more painful I went to the ER and was diagnosed, lanced, given antibiotics and sent on my way. Apparently I will need surgery to remove cyst wall and some type of cosmetic work due to the deformity.
Can my dentist be held liable?
