Legal Question in Personal Injury in New York
My 19 year old son still lives at home. he is driving his own car without insurance. if he gets in an accident and hurts someone could we be sued.

Yes. Especially because you know in advance that he is operating without insurance. It is much more complicated than this answer would seem to suggest but the bottom line is yes, you and your own auto insurance can be held accountable for the uninsured operation of an auto by a member of your household.
