Legal Question in Personal Injury in New York

accident

I was helping some people i know transport items from one fair to another when i fell asleep and went of the road and rolled the van 270 feet and had 2 b mercy flighted and almost died do i have any legal recourse i was working off the books

Without knowing more about the case then what is writtent, I believe you would have a case to make under NY Worker's Compensation law.
