Legal Question in Personal Injury in New York

Admitting Liability

Can a person sue both a construction company and an individual( a driver separate from the company) for liability in an auto accident, or does that mean you are conceeding that the accused driver is not entirely at fault?

Re: Admitting Liability

You haven't made clear at all what happened, so start with that. Write to me at [email protected] with details.

However, in general, to answer your question, one tends to sue all likely parties and the fact that you sue two different people isn't good evidence that you don't know who's to blame. Lawyers often present simultaneously alternate theories of liability. However, you should have an experienced lawyer write and file the complaint for you anyway. In this area, you'll get crushed in an instant as a pro se litigant, I'm sorry to say.
