Legal Question in Personal Injury in New York
I was assaulted at SUNY Geneseo ,the college police did not catch the people that did this to me. I was knocked out and received major head injury's ,when they showed up I don't remember anything but they said in there report I said I was fine, and I did not go to the hospital ,so my friends took me back to there place. I went to the hospital later in the day and found to to have internal head injury's. Can I have the college pay for my medical bills and for being out of work ?

Liability in a case like this depends on several factors, including the extent and adequacy of the university's security measures, their record of previous assaults on campus, and the precautions taken to prevent such assaults.
