Legal Question in Personal Injury in New York
Hi! I had a bad car accident. My air bags did not work. Is the manufacture responsible for that? Thank you!

It depends. You need to let me know if it was a frontal crash and whether it was the frontal air bags that did not go off or something of the like. If that is the case then yes, there may be a products liability case we can file for you. You have to prove both liability (who is at fault) and your injuries. Were your injuries serious? Kindly call me, Pasquale Calcagno, Esq., for a free consultation at 1(800)WE-FIGHT. I look forward to fighting hard for your rights.
Car manufacturers steadfastly defend against airbag claims; there is, after all, so much at stake for them if recalls are made necessary. Yet, a products case is possible if the vehicle is quickly viewed by an automotive engineer and determined to be faulty. You don't describe the accident itself, or the nature of your injuries. Perhaps the better approach here is to consider a case against the other driver, if there was one. You can call me to discuss: Mike Zuller, 212-279-8833, ext. 11. Thanks, Best, MEZ
They could be.
It depends on whether or not there was a malfunction.
You need an experienced attorney who can begin a prompt and thorough investigation. We would need to begin with either a personal or telephone interview to find out if the circumstances of the car accident required the airbags to deploy. You can contact us at (212) 962-1031.
There may be many reasons for a malfunction, and you might be entitled to a compensation for your injuries under certain circumstances. Immediate and thorough review of your case will give you more detailed information. If you need legal assistance with you case, you can contact our firm.
