Legal Question in Personal Injury in New York

I was bit by a dog and have to recieve rabies shots. The homeownwe insurance for the property I was bit on will not accept a claim. What are my options

You may want to consider a lawsuit if the bite left a significant scar or caused you to suffer some serious injury. An element of proof will be notice to the owner of the dog's vicious disposition. In the case of a pitbull, it's not too tough to prove. But for most other dogs the recent decisions are leaning toward the dogowners. A prior bite helps. Best, M. E. Zuller
