Legal Question in Personal Injury in New York

My brother was involved in a rear-end collision with my vehicle. The other driver who sustained to rear-end collision is willing to settle outside our perspective insurance companies. Before I pay for any damages, I would like them to sign a Release of Accident Claim, pertaining to car accidents. In addition, this release should cover any further property damage and bodily injuries, and so that they would be unable to pursue any claims towards myself or my insurance company

It should go farther than that. It should be a general release.
