Legal Question in Personal Injury in New York

Why would a plaintiff file a lawsuit then after the defendant answers not sent the bill of particulars and other papers the defendants lawyer needs they even waited past 90 days. Defendants lawyer asked for RJI. Is there a reason why they seem to be stalling.

The plaintiff's attorney could be stalling to settle the case. But it is likely that he does not view your case as a priority or is simply overwhelmed with his caseload.
