Legal Question in Personal Injury in New York

do i have a case?

i have fallen and riped on an escalator that was not working in the subwa train while exiting there was 2 escalators one going up and one going down the one entering the subway was woking but the one exiting was not . i was hurt on my way up i slip and sliced my toe open aginast the escalators blade steps

i wanna know should i take this to court?

It would appear that you do. The NYCTA requries a Notice of Claim to be filed within 90 days of an occurrence. This is a must before you are permitted to file suit. Act fast.
