The lawsuit must be started within 3 years of the accident. Go to his office to see him.
You must insist on an appointment. Meet with lawyer face to face and have him/her open your file and explain the progress of your case. If you can't get an appointment you have the option of filing a complaint. Best, M. E. Zuller
You have three years from your date of accident in New York to file a claim for personal injuries. 2 /12 years if it is a medical malpractice claim. The time limit to file may be even shorter if you are suing a city or municipality. I would suggest you set a meeting with your lawyer asap as your time limit to file is coming to an end very soon if it hasn't already expired. Good luck to you - Pasquale Calcagno, Esq., Calcagno & Associates.
