Legal Question in Personal Injury in New York
Do I have a case if while interning with the new york jets we were pounding posts into the ground when it clearly wasnt our field of work and split my head open and required 8 staples. I was not properly trained on the piece of equipment and the way my immediate supervisors handled it was poor. It took nearly a half hour for any medical help to arrive and they made me walk to a tent when I should have clearly been sitting or laying down.

Your question is unclear. A case against the Jets for negligence for your injuries? A worker's compensation case? A case against them for possibly violating the FLSA in not compensating you?
Your internship duties and whether you were getting paid are the primary factors that would affect your ability to seek compensation from the team.

Good luck!
Your claim, from what you describe, seems more in the nature of workers compensation. Inquire of the employer. Best, M. E. Zuller
You seem to have a workers compensation claim. Speak with your employer regarding payment through his workers compensation insurance policy to pay for your medical bills and any money for lost wages, if any b/c it is an internship.
