Legal Question in Personal Injury in New York
Daughter in car accident. Car insured by mother. Registration under father..title under daughter. All being sued. Insurance says injuries in excess of coverage..what to do?

Not knowing the true injuries, the number of people injured, and your policy limits, it is impossible to answer your question. If you have umbrella or excess coverage, notify the carrier immediately. Same for the carriers for any other cars in the household. In any case, you should speak with your defense counsel, or the adjuster handling the claim, and get a better idea of what the damages picture is here.
