Legal Question in Personal Injury in New York

Dear sir or madam
I had twisted my hand a few months ago and it started brothering me last month, but I was still able to cook, clean, holding my son.Than two weeks ago I went to see a Chinese "Ti Da' he use the stick hitting my hand till it was all bruce's than poke with a needle than us the fire suction up placing on my hand. It was so painful, he was like you be OK come back in a few day and see me. Following week I went to visit him again, than he did the same. I was more painful then when I didn't see him at first. After seeing two time than I went to see a neurologic. Dr said my vines is dislocated. Now my left hand cant not carry thing or even holding anything. So painful at night I cant even sleep. Can I sue this person for the damage he had made?
