''Dog Bite''

I just got bitten by a dog. Should I report the incident, if so to who and should I admitt myself to a hospital or take any medications from a drug store?

You should immediately go to a doctor and

be checked for rabies and other diseases

You should report it to Animal Control, a

branch of law enforcement, in case it is

a dangerous animal with a history

Getting well should be your concern, not

litigation. If litigation becomes appropriate

(namely if it is not the first time, and

there is some residual) you have three

years to sue

Re: ''Dog Bite''

I received your post this morning. I have done many of these. Go to a hospital...even now....and make any complaints...they will have the dog quarantined and tested for rabies if it has not had shots. Err of the side of caution.

Re: ''Dog Bite''

I agree with Mr. Groezinger. Seek medical attention now. Then consider pursuing legal action.
