Can I sue someone that promises you a new job for over 2 weeks & makes it sound that you have got the position only to you hear nothing ?

More facts are needed, but generally there would not be a cause of action for a broken promise regarding a job offer. It sounds as if there was no oral contract and nothing given by you in exchange for the empty promise. Disappointing, yes. But actionable, unlikely. Thank you. VTY, M. E. Zuller
