You are not required to have a lawyer but the insurance company will try and take advantage of you if you discussing a settlement. They will lowball you on the value of your case. A PI lawyer will have dealt with your injuries before and know their worth therefore, you should use a lawyer. In addition, the insurance company may tell you that your case is weak for this and that reasons and you won't know if they are giving you BS or not; a PI lawyer will know. My firm handles PI cases on a contigency basis. Feel free to email or call (212-622-7180) if you wish to discuss your case.

Certainly not...but from almost 2 decades of experience I can tell you that your chances of being successful in a matter that has success or promise is almost zero.

Feel free to contact me for a free consultation either on the phone or in my Manhattan location.

Good Luck
