Legal Question in Personal Injury in New York

Can the head of a sports club sign a waiver of liability that covers all of its members and guests? For example, if a soccer club is renting a field and the field owner has the head of the club sign a waiver stating that all members and guests waive all claims, is that executable or worthless?

A waiver that you have described is most likely worthless; there are many issues here, involving Contract Laws, Insurance Laws, Negligence, Damages, etc. Before signing anything, you should consult an experienced lawyer.

While a representative of a group or club etc. May potentiall waive liability for the group itself as a whole, in some situations, they can not legally waive your personal rights as an individual.
