Legal Question in Personal Injury in New York

injury claim

Should an auto injury that happened in the state of Arizona be handled by A Ny lawyer or an Arizona lawyer. The accident is a no fault, I was hit by a DUI individual who was arrested at the scene. My rental auto was destroyed. Any feed back welcomed

Presumably, the driver with whom you collided was an Arizona resident. If so, NY would not have jurisdiction over such a driver. You would have to sue for pain and suffering in AZ. No-fault claims can be handled without a lawyer. Usually done by mail. Best, ME Zuller
