While I can't tell you if this is something you SHOULD pursue, it's certainly something you COULD pursue. The spa is liable for the negligence of its workers. A letter to the spa's insurance company followed by sending copies of your medical bills should result in a relatively swift settlement.

Based on the info provided it appears you have a cause of action. However, collecting on a judgment against a small business/corporation usually depends on whether/type/amount of insurance they carry.

This info is usually "discovered" after a claim is commenced.
