Legal Question in Personal Injury in New York

My landlord tenant attorney who i worked with many times on an ongoing landlord tenant case, was supposed to take on my personal injury case. We spoke about this for many months. All of a sudden, now that i am ready to go forward, he tells another person, to tell me, he is no longer interested in the case. He won't return may phone calls or emails. I don't understand why he decided to do this, especially at the last minute, being my statue of limitations is up in a few weeks. Also, i can't believe he won't even tell me himself. What do you think could be the reason for this? I'm completely confused and devestated.

thank you

No reason to be "devastated", so long as the statute of limitations has not yet run. Consult with another lawyer NOW, and have all information available when you do. Best, M. E. Zuller

you may have a good case, but I would need details to make any determination. Do not hesitate to contact me with further information.
