Legal Question in Personal Injury in New York

Do lawyers dislike lawsuit funding? If so why?

Do lawyers dislike lawsuit funding? if so why? It gives them more time to hold out on a bigger settlement. Instead of the client taking the first offer. And it doesnt affect the amount of money they get because the client pay from his/her share. It also helps the client in need.
