Legal Question in Personal Injury in New York

NYC bus doors injure arm

MTA bus doors malfunctioned causing doors to close and trap my left arm.

I am currently suffering with nerve pain from my shoulder down to the tips of fingers. My fingers go numb.

1. I have vacation time at work, should i use these days or go out on Short-Term Diasability?

2. Is this a legitimate case that can be won?

Re: NYC bus doors injure arm

We have a case similar to yours right now. Notice of Claim needs to be filed with the MTA (or NYCTA if Transit) within 90 days of the accidnent. Also, a no-fault form should be filed within 30 days of the accident and you should also place you auto insurance carrier on notice. Please feel free to contact me.
