You have the right to get a copy of all incident reports that may have been filed. Depending on the places, there may be a minimal fee for copies. Usually hospital records are free if you physically go down to the department yourself. If you need any more help, do not hesitate to ask. We are licensed in NY as well.

More important than obtaining your records, which can usually be done at a minimal cost, you must file a notice of claim with the NYC Transit Authority within a specified time, otherwise you can lose the opportunity to bring a case against the City of New York or the MTA.
I am available to discuss your situation further, if you want to contact me directly.

You are within your rights to obtain a copy of the incident report and you must pay for your medical records if it is a hospital. Your doctor will usually copy your records for free.
