Settlement money for a minor

My son was injured from a fall from a defective bike. If we win his personal injury case how would his settlement money be disbursed since he is still a minor?

Re: Settlement money for a minor

As a minor, any monies must be the subject, in settlement, of an Infant's Compromise Order, wherein the Court will direct the where and how the proceeds are to be placed. Removal therefrom requires the approval of the Court on application to it.

Good Luck.
